Douglas Donohue
Prior to founding Excel Partners, Mr. Donohue was a Managing Director at Alterity Partners,
which was purchased by FTN Financial in 2004. Previously, he was a senior investment banker
in the M&A Group at Goldman Sachs & Co. in New York. Mr. Donohue has over twenty years of
experience leading transaction teams in merger and financing transactions in the healthcare,
technology, business services, aerospace/defense, media, electronics, consumer goods, automotive,
chemical, and staffing industries. Prior to Goldman Sachs & Co, Mr. Donohue was a Vice President
at JP Morgan & Company in the M&A and Equity Research Departments.
Mr. Donohue received a B.S. in Finance and International Relations from Georgetown University and
an M.B.A. in Finance and International Business from Columbia University. |

Ed Soh
Mr. Soh is a Managing Director and Co-Founder of Excel Partners. He joined Alterity Partners in 2000
and FTN Financial upon its acquisition in 2004. Previously, Mr. Soh worked at InnoCap, LLC, a
Netherlands-based investment bank focused on cross-border M&A and leasing transactions. Prior to
InnoCap, Mr. Soh helped Global Capital Advisors launch its hedge fund. He also worked as a portfolio
manager and bond trader for Robert R. Meredith & Co. While in graduate school, Mr. Soh assisted a
number of technology startup companies in developing their business plans, go-to-market strategies and
technology requirements.
Mr. Soh received a B.A. in Economics from Middlebury College and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. |

Alexander Faust
Mr. Faust joined Excel Partners in 2009 as a partner and Managing Director to head the Firm’s West Coast office. He has over twenty years of experience as an investment banker and corporate lawyer. Mr. Faust has worked on a wide variety of domestic and cross-border M&A and corporate finance transactions, in particular, in the healthcare, consumer goods, business services and technology industries. Prior to joining Excel Partners, Mr. Faust was a senior banker at Barrington Associates (now a part of Wells Fargo Securities) in Los Angeles. He is also the founder of Cross-Border Transaction Management GmbH (CBTM), a German advisory firm specializing in facilitating M&A transactions between U.S. and European middle-market companies. Mr. Faust previously worked as a Vice President in the M&A Group of Goldman, Sachs & Co. in New York, where he advised large cap companies in a broad range of industries. Before becoming an investment banker, Mr. Faust was an M&A and capital markets lawyer at White & Case LLP in New York and at Freshfields in London and Frankfurt am Main.
Mr. Faust received a law degree from Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich, Germany, and holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from New York University School of Law. He is fluent in German and English. |

Ted Kaminer
Mr. Kaminer is a Managing Director at Excel Partners. He brings a unique perspective with over twenty
years of experience as both an investment banker and senior operating executive. Mr.Kaminer's
transactional expertise includes domestic and cross-border M&A, and growth capital and acquisition
financings for publicly traded and privately owned companies in the healthcare services, healthcare IT,
business services and technology industries. Prior to joining Excel, Mr. Kaminer was Executive Vice
President and Chief Financial Officer at BioClinica, Inc. a global provider of clinical trial services and
technology to the pharmaceutical, biotech, and medical device industries operating in the US, Europe,
and Asia. During his tenure, the company grew both organically and through acquisitions, raised in
excess of $500 million in debt and equity securities and was publicly traded on the NASDAQ Global
Market until the successful sale to a private equity firm. Prior to BioClinica, Mr. Kaminer was a senior
investment banker focused on the middle market and specializing in M&A transactions and raising
growth capital through public and private debt and equity financings including IPOs. His career began at
Price Waterhouse, where he qualified as a certified public accountant, working with several Fortune 500
clients.
Mr. Kaminer received a B.S. in Agricultural Economics from Cornell University and an M.B.A. in Finance
